Fr. Adam to Speak at the Benedictine Oblates Meeting

On Sunday, July 8, you are warmly invited to join us in welcoming Pittsburgh diocesan priest Fr. Adam Potter who will share how he was led to learn more about Benedictine spirituality, how his study and prayer of it has blessed his priestly vocation, and how he views it to be a source of blessing for the laity. Fr. Adam grew up in Mt. Lebanon, entered the seminary for the Diocese of Pittsburgh and earned a Masters in Philosophy from Duquesne University. Bishop Zubik sent him to Rome for theological studies where he received a Bachelors in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical Georgian University and a License in Studies on Marriage and Family from the John Paul II Institute. Fr. Adam was ordained a priest in 2016. He is currently the parochial vicar at St. Benedict the Abbot, St. Francis of Assisi, and St. Isaac Jogues Churches, and is the chaplain at W&J University. The Benedictine Bl. Columba Marmion Oblate Deanery at St. Louise de Marillac Church will meet in the Bishop Leonard Room (directly under the church). Please arrive to be seated before 1:45 pm when we begin Daytime Prayer from Liturgy of the Hours. Our meeting will end at 3:00 pm with an opportunity to stay for refreshments. All are welcome!
