Introducing Our New Director of Youth Ministry
My name is Josh Snatchko, and I am extremely excited to introduce myself as the new Director of Youth Ministry for St. Benedict the Abbot, St. Isaac Jogues, and St. Francis Parish. I am a twenty-six year old graduate from Franciscan University of Steubenville and have been a youth minister for six years in the Diocese of Pittsburgh. My wife Caitlin also works for the diocese as a high school religion teacher, and we have been blessed with our son Patrick and our daughter that is due in November. When it comes to youth ministry my philosophy is simple. Making the choice to build a relationship with Jesus and His Church is the greatest adventure for mind, body, and soul that any person can choose to embark on. Starting from the ground up we will be working with our middle school, high school, and young adults to provide a fun, dynamic, and faith-filled program that will challenge and encourage our youth to climb mountains and become disciples of Jesus. Over the next few months I very much look forward to meeting everyone in the parish and sharing our upcoming youth ministry schedules for all age groups. Lastly, a special thank you to Father Bob and his staff who have been nothing but helpful and encouraging during this time of transition, it is a great feeling to know how much support everyone has for myself and more importantly the youth!
In Christ through Mary,
