Women of St. Benedict
The Women of St. Benedict, asking guidance by the Holy Spirit, are committed to continuing the works of Jesus Christ by working together in friendship to spread His Word to members of our group, our parish and our community. We strive to give good example, help the poor and needy, and to always remember others in our prayers to the Lord.

Shoe Box Santas
WOSB and St. Francis Christian Mothers will be collecting empty shoe boxes, soap, shampoo, razors, toothpaste, tooth brushes, deodorants, etc. for families in Appalachia. As you travel this summer, please save hotel samples for us. We also accept full size tubes of toothpaste, shampoo, soap, deodorant, etc. Also included in the wrapped shoe boxes are pencils, pens, note pads, small children's books and toys, small tools for men, jewelry and trinkets for women. The crochet ladies have been busy making hats, scarfs, ear warmers, pot holders, etc. which we also put into the shoe boxes.
PLEASE KEEP THE ITEMS AT HOME UNTIL YOU SEE A NOTICE IN THE BULLETIN ASKING YOU TO BRING THEM TO CHURCH.
Call Jackie Buck at 724-941-6955 if you have any questions.
Monthly Marathon Bridge
The Women of St. Benedict will again sponsor a Marathon Bridge held in O’Brien Hall on the first Thursday of each month from September 2018 through May 2019 at 9:30 am. Men and women are invited to join. If you are interested, please call Judith Ripepi at 724-941-9014.
You will need a partner to join. If you do not have a partner, we can add your name to a substitute list.
