Women of St. Benedict

The Women of St. Benedict, asking guidance by the Holy Spirit, are committed to continuing the works of Jesus Christ by working together in friendship to spread His Word to members of our group, our parish and our community. We strive to give good example, help the poor and needy, and to always remember others in our prayers to the Lord.

WOSB April Meeting

Please join us on Thursday, April 27 at 9:30 am in O’Brien Hall. This will be our last regular meeting until September. We will still have our installation Luncheon in May. Our meeting this month, “Faith in Flowers” is all about flowers and spring. Jan, from Malone’s Flower Shop will be our guest speaker. She will be demonstrating flower arrangements and then give them as prizes. God’s miracle ... flowers sprouting everywhere. Come join us for fun, food and fellowship. Yay Spring! Welcome Spring! (Fabric and notions for the Haiti dress project will also be available at the meeting.)

WOSB Annual Luncheon

Please join us for the WOSB Annual Luncheon on Thursday, May 11. We will begin at 10:00 am with a Mass of Thanksgiving and May Crowning followed by lunch at Valley Brook Country Club. Please choose from the following entrees:

#1 Chicken Marsala;

#2 Parmesan Encrusted Cod;

#3 Pork Chop with stuffing & gravy.

All entrees will be served with sweetheart salad, twice baked potato, green beans, rolls with butter, raspberry cheesecake, coffee, tea or iced tea. There will be an open cash bar. Cost is $20/parishioner and $25/non-parishioner. Please complete the below registration, attach cash or a check (payable to WOSB), and place in the box in the Parish Office, or mail to WOSB, c/o St. Benedict the Abbot by Friday, May 5.
