RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)
Have you ever thought about becoming Catholic?
Or do you know someone who may have expressed a similar interest?
We are in the process of gathering people for our upcoming RCIA sessions. We come together in small group sessions to learn more about the Catholic faith. This year the faith communities of St. Benedict, St. Francis and St. Isaac will work together in the process. You are most welcome to join us, and we will begin with a wine/cheese social on Wednesday September 19 at St. Francis. If you can’t come that night but would like more information, please feel free to contact Fr. Bob, Fr. Adam at St. Benedict, Deacon Vic at St. Francis, or call our pastoral associate Dennis Gehrlein at 724-941-9406 ext. 109.
Are You Seeking?
Are you interested in taking a closer look at the Catholic Church? Do you know someone who has asked questions about our faith?
Inquiring adults are welcome to take a deeper look at the Catholic journey of faith through weekly sessions, community prayer and ritual. This process of discernment within the Catholic Church is known as R.C.I.A., the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. If you, or someone you know, would like to learn more about this process, simply contact the RCIA team. The team consists of our Pastoral Associate Dennis Gehrlein and several dedicated parishioners who also journey with the candidates. Pray about this step and allow the Holy Spirit to lead you, then call the Parish Office at 724.941.9406 to speak with Dennis. If you prefer to speak with another member of the team, a name and phone number will be made available to you upon request.
