Our Mission Statement

St Benedict the Abbot Parish is a vibrant family of believers of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh.  We strive to help all develop a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through the Eucharist, Sacraments, Scripture and Tradition.  As a community, we live out our faith by serving others and we commit ourselves to welcoming all as Christ.

Not Sure What to Do for Lent This Year?

Why not delve deeper into your faith, find out when Lent ends, why there is not Mass on Good Friday, attend Stations of the Cross, go to Confession or attend a Lenten Penance Service, and don't forget our Lenten Fish Fry.  For more information on all of these, follow the links below:

2014 Pastoral Plan

The four goals of our pastoral plan are both ambitious and attainable. In them we have recognized the need to continue celebrating meaningful Liturgies, to provide solid spiritual formation and direction, and to be a place where people will find the warmth and welcome of Christ Himself. We hope these goals will carry us a little further along our journey, as God’s people, through this world to the next.
